Paris Fashion Week is in full swing, and the Dior Haute Couture show on Monday (Jan. 22) brought forth not only a stunning new collection from the iconic fashion house but also an unexpected and delightful interaction between Rihanna and Natalie Portman.

Rihanna, adorned in a textured all-black ensemble featuring a puffy belted jacket, a form-fitting skirt, leather gloves, and a statement cap, illuminated the front row of the show with her presence. While Rihanna’s fashion moments are always highly anticipated, the real highlight was witnessing her genuine excitement and admiration for Natalie Portman.

“I am a fan!” RiRi exclaimed. “You’re one of the hottest b—ches in Hollywood forever!”

The two stars serendipitously met outside the show and immediately shared a tight hug, expressing their mutual admiration. Rihanna couldn’t contain her excitement, complimenting Portman on her innocent look, to which the “Umbrella” singer playfully twirled.

Portman, dressed in a black oversized blazer over a black minidress, reciprocated Rihanna’s excitement, expressing her love for the nine-time Grammy winner and accepting the compliments in disbelief. “Are you kidding me? Excuse me, I’m gonna faint. I’m gonna black out!” exclaimed the Oscar-winning actress. “I love you, and I listen to your music all the time, and you’re just such a queen, thank you!”

In true Rihanna fashion, she requested the paparazzi to capture the moment with Portman, who enthusiastically obliged. “Can somebody take a picture so I can remember this happened tomorrow?!” quipped the pop superstar. “I don’t get excited about anybody!” The two stars shared one final hug before parting ways.

This star-studded crossover marked the beginning of a significant week for Portman, who could potentially earn her fourth career Oscar nomination for her starring role in Todd Haynes’ May December when nominations are revealed on Tuesday. Rihanna, on the other hand, secured a best original song nomination at last year’s Oscars for “Lift Me Up,” her Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 hit from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.
