Reportedly, Maren Morris’ divorce from Ryan Hurd has reached its conclusion. The artist behind “Circles Around This Town” filed for divorce from fellow singer-songwriter Hurd on October 2, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause. The recent divorce settlement between Morris, 33, and Hurd, 37, outlines the division of their assets, a shared custody arrangement for their son Hayes Andrew Hurd (who turns 4 in March), and a monthly child support payment of $2,100 to Hurd. Despite the divorce filing, the couple reunited shortly afterward to take their son trick-or-treating. It’s worth noting that Morris and Hurd reportedly had a prenuptial agreement in place since 2018, and it was amended about a year before Morris initiated the divorce proceedings.

Documents reveal that a judge in Nashville, Tennessee, finalized the divorce earlier this week, as reported by PEOPLE on Wednesday evening (January 31).

Morris and Hurd, who were married for over five years, tied the knot in March 2018 at a venue in Nashville, where they first met while collaborating on music for Tim McGraw. Following their separation, the couple has not extensively discussed their personal lives in public. Morris did mention in a radio interview that she turned to music as an outlet during this challenging time and expressed that she wasn’t in the “headspace” to start dating again. Additionally, she posted a TikTok video covering Tammy Wynette’s “D-I-V-O-R-C-E.” On the other hand, Hurd, who hinted at new music coming in 2024, has shared his own covers, including a rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Now That We Don’t Talk,” a track from the vault on “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
