Singer Joshua Bassett (23) is feeling nostalgic! On Wednesday, he took to Instagram to share a snippet of his upcoming single, “Golden Years.”

The emotional clip finds Bassett standing on the beach near the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. He looks directly into the camera as he sings lyrics hinting at lost love: “In the blink of an eye / We were young ’til we weren’t / It was fun ’til it hurt / Now I’m terrified / That I’ll never find love like yours.”

The post is shrouded in a bit of mystery with just an “eye” emoji as a caption. Bassett included a link in his Stories for fans to pre-save the song.

While a release date and details on a full album are yet to be announced, “Golden Years” is the follow-up to his September 2023 single, “Just Love.”

Bassett also wrapped up his time at East High last year with the final season of Disney+’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” The season featured a dose of nostalgia with the return of several original “High School Musical” cast members. Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, Alyson Reed, and Kaycee Stroh all reprised their iconic roles. The season centered around the filming of a long-awaited reunion movie titled “High School Musical 4: The Reunion,” shot at their former high school.
